After completing these tests successfully they will then do a 2 week Recruit course followed by a 2 week Breathing Apparatus course. Both these must completed and passed before a Recruit can start as a probationary Fire Fighter. However training does not stop there. A Fire Fighter will have to do a lot more training after His/Her initial training.
